When It’s about to go to Islamabad…! Oh yes, it’s one of the greatest pleasures to visit Islamabad. Our university had planned a long trip so how can I miss this opportunity. The Top Destinations were Islamabad, Abbottabad, Kaghan, Naran & Murree. I, along with my class group registered our names for this trip. No doubt we were going to have great fun.
We, along with other university fellows, departed from Bahawalpur in a Bus. Our teachers also joined us with their families. We had a great time on the way to Islamabad. We reached in the morning, and it was a very Hot day in Islamabad. Our teachers decided to stay at the hotel. In the evening we left our hotel to visit Daman-e-Koh, one of the best tourist attractions in Islamabad. It’s a point in Margalla hills, from where you can see the sight of Islamabad. As soon as we reached there, heavy rain started along with wind. This made our experience more wonderful and joyous. After that we Moved towards Peer Sohawa, another top point of Islamabad Hills. The weather turned cold. We were already wet due to the rain and now the cool breeze makes us almost freeze at the most top of the point of Islamabad. The night view of the city was very relaxing and charming. We enjoyed the view along with a cup of tea. The tea was very expensive by the way 😉 .
Now it’s time to move towards the Iconic Mosque of Islamabad “The Faisal Masjid”. We offer Esha Prayers there. This beautiful mosque has a most relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Now it’s time to go back to the Hotel. I insisted our teachers let us have a visit of Pindi Food Street to enjoy Savour’s Ice cream. But our teachers refused because of late night hours. However, it was decided that only boys will go there to buy Ice cream and will eat it together with teachers and other female fellows at the hotel. Everybody liked the ice cream. It’s noteworthy to mention that Savour’s is the most famous brand of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
On Second day, it’s time to move. We packed our things and traveled towards the Khanpur Dam and had a wonderful experience of boating.

We also visited a factory/mill as part of our education tour. After having lunch, we left for Abbottabad and reached the hotel at night and had a short visit to the nearest Markets. Due to nighttime, we were not allowed by our teachers to spend much time out there.
On the third day, after having breakfast we started our journey towards Kaghan & Naran. On the way we had fun with ice balls on different attractive points. We reached Naran at night, had a little difficulty finding hotel rooms due to the peak season.
On the fourth day, we went to Jheel Saif-ul-Malook. We reached there via Jeep by enjoying the dangerous routes. It was my first visit to this place. I heard a lot of stories about this place. There are many rumors, philosophies, and stories about this place. But none of them is based on the truth. There are many storytellers who will charge you a fee to tell the story of this Jheel Saif-ul-Malook without any authenticity.

The view of Jheel Saif-ul-Malook is very eye-catching and soothing. One can easily fall in love with this place. We collected lots of memories there and went back to the hotel room. Our stay at Naran was extended for one more day. This gave us an opportunity to explore the markets of Naran on the fifth day.
On the Sixth day, we started our journey towards Murree. We left Naran after breakfast, had Lunch in Kaghan, enjoyed at Khiva point and then reached Murree at Night. The Way towards Murree was very beautiful. The lights of houses on mountains presents a glimpse like stars are on the earth.

On the Seventh day, we had a short tour of Kashmir Point and then moved to Patriata. We had an experience of Asia’s longest chairlift and cable car there.
For me it was the second time to enjoy this ride. Being a second time visitor, I also had a privilege to guide my fellows regarding the paths and places. After having a great day, we came back at night at the hotel.
On Eighth day, after visiting Mall Road, now it’s time to go back. We packed our things and started our journey back to Bahawalpur. We all were very tired but happy to have a great time. We collected wonderful memories that we may never forget during our whole life.
